At the other side of the bracket, competition goes merciless. The best teams in there play no games with those becoming an obstacle in their way to greatness.  And LeBron has been victimized. The gold and purple team beats therefore LeBron, Wade, and Bosh; and gets them out of GOAT conversation. So now that they move to the next round... who are they waiting for? The couldn't miss an opportunity like this. That is not in their DNA. Lakers will meet the 07' Spurs in tournament quarterfinals. After all the season, this is when things get really serious. Teams were now heading to a traditional playoff competition. Only 16 remained from the original 248, so that being considered, it wasn't rare to think that every series would be tough and long. And so they were. After 82 regular season games, and a single elimination first round, the 2nd Round announced a thrilling avalanche of match ups. The legacies of many legends seemed endangered, as their teams were upset in the 1st Round (only 2 Michael Jordans survived 1st round, out of the 8 that got there). The last representative of the 60s, the 67' Philadelphia Warriors (lead by a guy named Wilt Chamberlain) lost to the '09 Rockets, who are so far the biggest surprise in the championship (Yao Ming is now close to claiming a spot among the best 16 teams of all time).  We will miss a lot of people, that's for sure.
